El jueves por la noche MTV anunció por medio de sus redes sociales que la cantante Katy Perry será la conductora para los MTV Video Music Awards 2017, que se llevarán a cabo desde el Forum en Inglewood, California.
El evento será transmitido en vivo por MTV Latinoamérica el próximo 27 de agosto a las 19:00 horas.
Más tarde la cantante compartió en su cuenta oficial de Instagram un vídeo donde ella viste como astronauta rosa y junto al clip escribió la siguiente descripción:
“He estado entrenandocon MTV en gravedad cero, comiendo helado de astronauta y ahora estoy en un grupo de chat con Buzz Aldrin y Neil deGrasse Tyson. Que ya llegue el 27 de agosto, estoy lista para ser su Moonwoman. Chicos, prepárense para el impacto.”
